Couples counseling is generally not covered by insurance. However, some individuals may be covered in full or in part by their health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance provider the following questions:

• Do I have out-patient mental health benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?
• Do I need authorization from my insurance company before setting up an appointment?

Marriage & Family Therapist Interns are not currently allowed to accept insurance payments. Interns do accept cash, check , credit card or victim of crimes payments
