I caught a clip on the news this morning about a woman who does a blog and has written a book. Sorry, I didn't caught her name, but the website is www.my168hours.com . I went to the website to check it out.
Her premise is that we DO have time for the things that are a priority for us. She says that we my not have time everyday, but that we can make time in a week to do what is important. She suggests that you keep track of how you are spending your 168 hours for a couple of weeks and provide a free download of a spreadsheet to help you to do this. Then you look at the spreadsheet and see where you are spending time on things that do not have the highest priority for you.
You get to decide if mopping the floors is a higher priority then spending time with your kids or if watching TV is a higher priority then getting your excercise in or if playing video games has a higher priority then spending time with your spouse. I guess first you might want to give some thought to what your priorities in your life are.
Setting time or "giving some real estate" in you calender to the things that are most important to you will support you living a more purposeful and fulfilling life.
